Awards and Recognition

Presented by the Chinook Country Cattlemen and the High River District Health Care Foundation.  Ballco Feeders was the  host feedlot for 2006-2007. 

          

Ballco Feeders was certified in 2005 under the Alberta Beef Quality Starts Here program. Certification ensures our customers, both processors and consumers, that the highest standards of beef production are being followed.

Ballco Feeders was awarded the Award of Distinction for Industry Leadership in 2006.  This award is an opportunity to recognize those in the industry who have worked hard to advance the well-being of livestock in Alberta.  We were recognized for our early implementation of the Alberta Beef On-Farm Safety Program and its animal care spin-off benefits.  For the full article please go to www.afac.ab.ca.
